Shadow of the Giant (independent reading)#4

I have just completed the book, and it ended in classic Ender fashion (no pun intended). Though the rest of the book wasn't particularly great (some of the characters were, but if they're from Battleschool or related to Ender, they should be), the last chapter was something else.

It has been mentioned in other books that Peter is sort of the "bad side" of Ender. But he most certainly came around towards the end of the book. And the monumental (no pun intended. If you read the book, you'd understand) final lines are plenty to remember the book by.

  1. Hi, Sand,

    This is your teacher.

Fantastic job reading. I particularly like your first and fourth posts--there YOU write; in the middle posts you give a quick summary but do not analyze/question/interact with the text.

To answer your question about what to do--begin each new book's post with title, author, publication year information. Begin each post by stating which book you're reading and give a 2-3 sentence summary of what's happened so far. The bulk of your post should be your thoughts about the book--as you do so well on the in the first and last entries on Ender's Game. The posts should be about 200 words each.

I look forward to your next posts!
